Position Description
The person will work in the RF group and be involved in all aspects of
RF and Noise Analysis simulation. In addition, he/she will take care of
the interfacing with the core circuit simulation engine. It is a
research intensive and challenging position requiring innovation in the
implementation of various algorithms.
Responsibilities
• Implement algorithms for RF
analyses in time domain
and frequency domain
• Improve performance,
convergence, and related
issues
• Develop suitable interfaces to
the core engine
• Interface with the core engine
group as needed
Requirements
• Previous experience of at
least 2 years in
development of RF simulators
• Strong understanding of RF
simulation techniques
• Strong background in numerical
methods
• Experience in developing
software for ODEs, DAEs,
and PDEs
• Excellent knowledge of
electrical circuits
• Good understanding of RF
communication circuits
• Outstanding programming skills
in C/C++
• Graduate degree in Electrical
Engineering or
relevant area (Ph. D. preferred)
Desirable
• Experience in working with
SPICE or other circuit
simulators
